Busan Workation is emerging as a center for global 'digital nomads' (people who work freely without spatial constraints using the internet and digital devices), not only domestically but also internationally.
The Busan Center for Creative Economy & Innovation (BCCEI) announced on the 21st that it will hold the ‘GLOBAL BUSAN WORKATION with Hoppin’ event in collaboration with the global workation startup ‘Hoppers’ from the 1st to the 29th of next month.
During this event, approximately 80 overseas digital nomads will visit Busan to explore new business opportunities through exchanges with local youth and startups, and to enjoy diverse workation experiences.
BCCEI will not only provide participants with workspaces and accommodation but also arrange opportunities for global talents to share their experiences in Busan through the networking event ‘W Day.’
This global workation event is expected to maximize synergy between digital nomads and startups, serving as an important stepping stone for Busan to leap forward as an international startup hub.
